I usually look for a boot when getting walking shoes as I feel they provide a bit more protection but having tried these for the last week or so I would have no qualms about going on more vigorous walks in them. They are comfortable and sturdy, compared to my other walking boots they are much lighter but they are so well made you don't feel quality has been compromised. I've been on a couple of easy walks (around about hour and a half each walk) around the various woods and reservoirs around here and they have been fine, coping well with the snow - feet nice and dry. They are so comfortable I've been putting them on and nipping out in them like I would my normal shoes - they look good too. I was going to give them 4 stars because I'm Colombia for a 5 and had no problems wearing a sport sock in them. People with a wide fit may find them a bit tight. I can't say how they are for off road walking but are great for general walking and have worn them all day with no problems. Would definitely buy this style again as look great with my jeans!
Comfortable, lightweight. These dont have a thick tread so are perfect for speed walking round the park and dog walking. Waterproof too. Probably not suitable for hiking or hill walks when you might want something more sturdy.

I've recently bought my second pair of Merrell Intercept trainers. This time I went 1.5 sizes up as their sizing is somewhat er..wrong! I think the conversion from foreign (US?) to UK is wrong.It is an absolutely brilliant shoe though. Real leather with very tough materials inside and on the sole.This and just invites her to stay..then both get sucked into the nightmare.It's a pretty confusing movie with little to no scares..and I never seen no demon or anything close to being scary.
