Bought these after filling in my details on the Runnersworld website. They are recommended for heel strike heavy running styles and also for the *ahem* larger runners amoung us.The support is great and the shock absorption in the heels feels incredible. For now I give them 5 stars. Will update if anything changes
I am by no means a running expert, these are only the second pair of dedicated running trainers I have ever bought. However they fit well and I've years. Provides excellent support, stability and grip. Very comfortable. Great soul to the shoe. No slipping or twisting when you wear this shoe.Play mainly indoors on carpet where the shoe performs brilliantly but equally good on outdoor hard surfaces.Hard-wearing and traditionally good-looking.Would agree that the quality of manufacture has reduced a tad recently (sewing at front side detaches sooner) but not enough to make me want to change shoe.A really great tennis shoe.
Second pair I have bought for my husband he put them on straight out the box to go and play tennis, great. I wear the same ones myself can only recommend.

There should be quality control that should standardize these Merrell products. I am now conflicted if I should have gotten a size 11; that is two sizes larger than my usual size! Very disappointing, I must say.*Update: 30/11/2009.I returned the 'undersized shoe above and promptly obtained a refund for the shoe. I loved the design and build quality so much that decided to purchase a size 11. This is 2 sizes above my normal size 9!!Guess what, I've been very happy with this shoe since. As I speak, I've done approximately 15 miles on it and I have to say it was worth every pound spent. I have a nagging suspicion that the American sizes may have www.theexpedition.org this ..I knew as soon as I SAW the shoes that they were incorrectly labeled . They are in my opinion probably a small 3 ! I couldn't get my foot into them ! lol.I am disappointed .......BUT grateful that I was planning way ahead of my holiday departure date so I can buy another pair of Aqua shoes..albeit not this brand incase the same thing occurs.They seem well constructed and a very pretty colour and I am in no doubt would hold up well and be fit for purpose , I just dont want to take the chance that the next pair will be incorrectly labeled too.
The feel of this shoe is different to other Merrell Barefoot shoes I've owned in that the sole is considerably more robust and the ground feel isn't as good. Whether this is because it's not really a sports shoe, I don't know, but it has a very 'urban' fe.
best steam iron y maximum, and the stiletto means they're not going to be easy on uneven ground but I've found Mary Janes difficult to find that look this attractive. They are so nice, I bought them in red and navy :)

I run on hard surfaces every day and use my Asics Gel Nimbus,oes (size 11) fitted my wide feet very well. The box the shoes arrived in stated 'wide' on the label, so narrower feet might need the extra insole as stated in the description above, assuming that it comes with the shoes.I would buy these shoes again. Time will tell how they wear.
I wanted a smart pair of shoes which were comfortable to wear for extended periods of time standing up and this pair fits the billThe shoes look very smart and will go well with more formal attire and feel well made. The fit of the shoe is exactly as I expected and very comfortable, with great cushioning when walking, much better than leather soled shoesIf I was to have one criticism, and only a Louis Vuitton Watches slight problem is the strap slips down at the back

Lovely trainer, my daughter uses them for PE, but loves them so much we have to bring them home from school everyday!She is a 10.5 but ordered an 11.5 and they are a pretty good fit and will last till the end of summer.Pricey but worth it for the comfort, quality and styling.Both mum and daughter happy :)
Wasn't happy with the quality of these boots. After 2 weeks of wear, the skin started peeling and started to look tatty. My daughters looks after her shoes so for this to happen is bad. I had to replace them in the 3 week. Brought from high street which is what I should have done in the first place.
Boots arrived my daughter loved them wore them all the time but with in 5 weeks the sole of one boot fell off! so weren't impressed with the quality.
Boots worn for two days and the coating was peeling f isabel marant shoes annot wear cheap shoes due to a problem she has. Vans have been one of the best buys for durabilty & comfort. I've had 4 pairs for 2 kids & wouldn't have a problem buying another. GREAT QUALITY SHOES!
Before I bought these, I asked my friends who already owned a pair of vans, what were they like? They quoted that they are: 'Very comfortable and spacious' and in my opinion they are indeed very comfortable and spacious. in terms of style and comfort they have the qualities of Converses and plimsolls, or in other words the best of both. If your a half-size customer like me, then you may wish to chose a whole numbered size, because they are actually quite spacious inside. E.g. size 9.5 get size 9.
