I would not go beyond an average 6 year old maybe, 5 to be on the safe side ! As they are for costume only .... I would not recommend a child walk around in them all day. They are not as comfortable or as suitable as a shoe would be. Be advised .... your life is in your hands to try and take them off the child ;~)

Perfect I have a daughter who is a size 13 & a daughter who is a size 9 it is a bit big for my youngest but she doesn't care so neit The Slovak Republic though they were wide fitting, the boots were cramping my little toes, my instep and my ankle-bones. A crinkle appeared in the leather above my instep, that I thought would cripple me, if I ever went out of the house in these boots.I applied the spray over the course of several evenings, whilst wearing the boots. I would spray them at intervals of maybe an hour, whilst progressively tightening the laces.This patient application has paid off. The boots now fit perfectly. The crinkle over the instep has disappeared and the tops of the boots have moulded to fit my protruding ankle-bones. These insoles are very comfy. Thick enough to give support and comfort but not so thick that they affect the shoe size. The sizing lines are smaller than the shoe size though so cut slightly larger to give a perfect fit.

I have not long finished reading 'The Other Woman's Shoes' and thought it was Adele Parks' best yet. As with all her books I was rationing the last couple of chapters, as I didn't want it to end! The long legged, gorgeous shoed cover gives a real sense of glamour and sophistication to the characters i supra skytop to small. I'll need to return and buy a 6.5. Not sure why this particular style is so small compared to other Gabor styles.

They are tough, sure, warm, water resistant (or water proof if you treat them nice) and they still look ok on the dance floor.(Well, maybe not. But buy them - just add 1.0 to 1.5 on to the size depending on what socks you like!!
These shoes look good, more's the pity then that Merrell haven't given more attention to sizing. All the comments about them being too small or too narrow are entirely justified. They are!I ordered an extra half size up from my usual size and the fitting is still tighter than I would have wished from the mid foot onwards. Strangely the fitting is conversely a bit too sloppy from the mid foot backwards. How can a company like Merrell get something so fundamental so wrong? I'm hoping they will mould themselves to my feet over time. We shall see!
