I replaced my previous pair of Salomon's walking shoes with these Ellipse GTX just for normal wear and the occasional non-muddy walk. They are very comfortable, a little narrower than my previous pair and I would recommend buying half a size bigger (or a whole size in continental sizes ie. 38 > 39). My last pair lasted quite a few number of years and these should do the same.
They were just what I wanted. They fit well, very comfortable and keep my feet dry walking through wet grass and on rainy Zagreb ful information from it.In essence it is a fantastic book and I would highly recommend it to anyone perhaps studying fashion or for anyone who is simply interested in shoes.

The very, very rare occasion when something happens like this: Bloomsbury sent me a review copy of the new book Shoes: An Illustrated History, by Rebecca Shawcross.And it's exciting, yes, to get such a fantastic free book in the mail, but i'll tell you this: i'd have bought it anyway. If all you want is a soundbite of a review, best price flights ew that someone was using him for this trash he would have had it stopped.

Having bought this shoe in the past I was delighted with the width so Iordered 2 pairs for the winter whilst they are new and need breaking in Idid not feel that they are as wide fitting as my last pair which gave instantcomfort therefore I would not order on line again I will try them on in a shopfirst quite disappointed .

I buy Solomon all the time they are excellent gore tax trainers, I have narrow feet and they fit me really well, I have 5 pairs in diff colours. I won't buy any other trainer as these are perfect for me

After suffering a serious ankle injury last year and subsequently developping planter facitas, I have stuggled with finding shoes or insoles that don't leave me in pain and unable to walk or stand for any amount of time. On a recomendation I purchased some Fitflop work shoes which worked a treat whilst in the office but desperately needed some 'social shoes'. Ordered these because i loved the colour but was a little apprehensive having read reviews about fit on similar styles. All were completely unfounded when i walked the 2 miles into work this morning (not a rub or blister in sight) and am nocheap at all..
A cute design.The design of the trainer is wide and the velcro doesnt provide an adequate tightening. They dont come with a box but were well packaged and delivered on time.
Trainers were a little bit big, but with childrens shoes thats a bonus. Pretty design, easy wipe clean, great velcro straps so easier for a small child to fasten and open.
Pretty but have a strange bobble underneath the shoes where toes go hopefully the shoes won't become uncomfortable because of this bobble, fine at moment though!

Poor quality. Shoes were scuffed by the 2nd week and now (after 6 weeks) need replacing as the top layer has come right off.

I'm An adult with small feet, and these trainers fit perfectly. Like gloves, they adapt to the shape of my feet. I use them every day to train. I now own 3 pairs of skechers and they're all wonderfully comfortable. Thanks

I just got these in a size 3 for my daughter. She absolutely loves them. The colours are vibrant and the trainers itself are comfortable and springy. For her being as athletic as she i babyliss hair curler t), I have found these shoes to be rather wide. With the insertion of an insole I think they will be fine, but it does mean I'll have to wear thick socks every time, so in a way I might just as well have worn my walking boots instead. They are the correct fit length-wise (some reviewers found their shoes unexpectedly long and needed a half size smaller, but that doesn't apply to me). I would recommend them, but not for people with narrow feet. I haven't yet tested how waterproof they are.
I know with experience Merrell come up small so I go up half size and can wear thick walking socks with them. Only just had them for the past week or so but I have worn them in and they feel really good. Very stable, water proof so far, the grip is the main thing it is amazing. I walk dogs.
Buy cheap replica e not cheap shoes and I expected them to last longer than 3 months ( I only wear them for a few hours about 3 times a week). Disappointed that Amazon wont exchange/return - will return to buying direct from SCHUH their policy on shoes is far better for the customer.
Ordered a size 7 but got sent a size 6 which was far too small. Shoes look great though, lovely material and colour is really rich. Shame about the mix up in size as they don't do exchanges and now I have to return them to get refunded and then purchase another pair in the hope they will send the correct size this time.
Love these vans. Not often you can get patterned ones, but I love them. Prefer to plain colours , and hopefully they will not show dirty marks. Will wear with most colours as they have pinky red, blue and green in them.

Loving a spanner that's supplied. Clip-together straps fit into the best slots in the sole for your shoe size. So far so good - they are inexpensive and seem sturdy. Big problem though is that you often need a bit of force to lift your feet out of the ground and the straps continually pull loose. They thread through the buckles in a way that's supposed to pull tight on themselves but they are still slippy enough to come loose with almost every footstep rendering these pretty useless. Also, if you stumble you can't move your feet quick enough to prevent a fall so beware of hazardous areas - slopes/drops/pools etc!I'm going to recycle the studs into a home made block aerator.
First of all these are a good deal for what they are and they Work!Small points make sure the grass is wet as it makes it a lot easier, when you place the spike into the shoes just put a drop of glue on all the nuts to stop them coming undone, best wear a boots http://www.mtnrunner.com/supras , remarkably they seem to be self cleaning (although I wouldn't walk through puddles or mud in them). I'm only sad that in really wet/cold weather the fabric shoes won't be suitable, and I wish I could find them on sale, but to be honest, if you have painful feet, these are so worth it. These look good quality for the price, and fit pretty much as expected, although slightly wide (I'm told I have narrow feet though!) However, used them for the first time today, a mere 4 mile walk, and they have rubbed on the outer edge of my right foot. Feeling inside, there is a slight rough patch there. Will probably be fine if I double up on socks.
After ordering I was worried they would be too small as a previous pair I had by the same company I realised after were half size bigger. However they fit lovely as a 6 which is my normal size. Very comfy and lightweight. :-)
