I did not live through this time, being born 2 years after the end of WWII, but I'd like to think UXB gave an accurate representation of peoples' lives in the early to mid 1940s. The rations and other hardships, the incredible dangers, the losses of the brave soldiers. I'll be watching this series again.

My eye was caught by these shoes on the internet and I liked them because they were a little bit different and would add a slight zing to the summer clothes I tend to wear; i.e. chino coloured or white bottoms with a bright plain mall ay the same for the latest offerings from Vans. Although comfortable and light with good grip, they just don't seem as supportive or with enough cushioning to the sole to rave about them the way I used to. I'm glad I bought them. They look good and I expect after a few weeks they'll bed in to my feet and feel more comfortable. Overall a good buy. But I expect that from Vans. One slight niggle. The tongue on the left shoe (and curiously, the tongue on t Babyliss Pro oes to keep them onI'm sticking to these now I've found them.
Having worn Sketchers Shape Ups for the past few years I wondered if anything would be as good and I've not been disappointed. I have now worn them for a month, long enough to be able to tell if they were comfortable or not.They are slightly higher around the ankle and initially I was aware of this but only for a few days. Also the sole is less spongy than shape ups but this has not made a difference to their comfort. The shoes are very lightweight and as I can be on my feet for 10 hour shifts I really needed a shoe that would help not only my foot comfort but also my posture, back and neck. Gabor shoes are THE most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. The 'Hovercraft' insole combined with the rubber outsole means I can stand or walk comfortably in these all day, while they still work with casual or business attire to look smart and stylish.I cannot recommend them for comfort highly enough. I take a UK8 wide and they slip on straight out of the box like a glove - no 'breaking in time' required. I have bought Gabor shoes before, and others since, but nothing is as comfortable as a Gabor shoe, so despite the cost I have bought another 2 pairs.My only quibble is that the navy looks almost as dark as the black pair of Rosalie's I have also bought and I was expecting them to be a bit more 'blue' and less 'black'. BEST ever shoes - just wish I didnt have to supras ou do get this, don't leave your pet unsupervised with it!
They look cool but they aren't really suitable, if you want to spend a few quid for a toy that will last minutes before your dog starts to eat it then go ahead. Our 13 week puppy destroyed the slipper in about 5 minutes and started eating the rubber sole, the boot is more durable and took about two or so days before we had to take it off her.
These were a little bit too large but the service was fantastic especially for the returning of them

best companies re not at fault. So when I buy shoes from other places size 9 they fit my son. MW not interested in customer service or goodwill. So with shoes etc from MW make sure you get free posting to you and free postage back if you need it.
I bought these for my Y2 daughter as we fell in love with their Mary Jane style, comfy look and durability of patent (have not needed to clean them since we bought them). So many compliments. She wore them with an insole as they are sssue occurred with another reviewer and he too did the same!On closer inspection of the box, I have found that it mentions the colour as Brown, but I have gone to another retail store which stocks the same shoe in actual brown colour and found that the box there also said brown. So, it seems amazon have got it stocked with the wrong colour showing on the boxes, and the staff probably doesn't check whether the inside shoe is of the right colour.Bottomline: The shoe is really good and I'd highly recommend it irrespective of colour. Also keep in mind that its slightly more loose than standard shoes and ordering a size smaller than the usual could be recommended. I had ordered a smaller size after reading other reviews and I am happy with the size delivered.
I haven't worn a pair of slip-ons since the seventies so was a little worried I might not like the fit or the elastic would be too tight or too loose. I am pleased to say I have no complaints on any if these concerns.They are probably the most comfortable sally salon services re too big, so I will be giving them away now.First time I have every had to do that with a pair of Fly shoes.Never mind, lesson learned.
I'm a 5 in every make but knew Fly comes up big so ordered a 4. Enormous. Literally falling off my feet. Really annoying if you buy online. Please Fly, love the styles but sort out the sizing.
Size wise generous I ordered a size smaller but were a bit wide but I have narrow feet I place insoles in them now fits fine really comfortable wore them a lot on my holidays really pleased

Wanted to steer away from the usual satin type bags, and the girls were dressed in gold, so these bags were great, and went well with their dresses. They were also well made.
It's ok for the money, quality not great so not sure how it will last, some of the stitching on the zip not good. Get what you pay for I guess.
