If you are doing serious hiking you should get a proper boot with ankle support, but for day hiking in light/intermediate terrain, or just casual wear, this is a great shoe.
I'd never heard of Merrells until I got these shoes on a recommendation. First I was impressed on my commutes to central Milan rted to leak. I'm not very impressed.

These work to certain degree but not enough for my problem. They fit well into shoes and can be moved from pair to pair.
love the colour, it's a dark black (not the charcoal grey that it looked on screen). However it is a different fit and shape to the original pace glove. I love my original pace gloves, they were a perfect fit, so this was majorly disappointing. this new model feels about a size larger in length, and feels more 'baggy' all over. It sits much higher around the ankle, and this causes chaffing - on the ankle of my right foot, rubs the skin red around that ankle, even though i've only worn them for short times (just walking and general wear, not gone running in them). I've had to buy some double thickness insoles to try and raise my foot so it's less baggy and doesn't rub the ankle, but it still does. This only happens with the right foot, I did wonder best laptop for the money .
My daughter adores these light and comfy trainers. I bought them as they were such a bargain price and they are excellent value. The colours are bright and attractive and she has had many compliments from her friends who all want to know where she got them. She now claims she can 'run like the wind' in her light yet supportive Skechers Girls trainers.

These are without doubt the most comfortable flip flops whatever you want to call them i have ever owned.They are extremely comfortable and because of the angle and width of the straps you do not feel you need to hold them on.I have just walked the deep dale valley in them 6 mile round trip and no aching calves or legs.Just one thought i'm a size 8 and to be sure of fit I ordered a size 9 they sent me a 10 and they fit perfect ?
Blooming brilliant, the most comfortable flips flops I have ever owned. Great colours & size for my 6 year old. Fee www.theexpedition.org tried them on but after ten minutes walking, the size 6 is far too tight over the toes (and I know the size 7 is far too big). disappointing...and because I had worn them to walk outside, can't return them either.
Fit is true to size and they are very light and comfortable to wear for walking. Did make the mistake of wearing themon a hot day with no socks and, almost got a blister but that was down to me, not the shoes.Delivery fast as expected, very pleased. Recommended
These slippers don't have a thick rubber sole but suede like the top's consequently they slip.The colour is more pink than in the picture so not really suited for a male.But after complaining via Amazon I was sent an email from brubaker who said to send a photo which I did and they would get back to me over a w babyliss curlers making it awkward and the sandal is not nearly as comfortable or easy to adjust as it was. I won't be buying more which is a shame as I have loved my last three pairs.
I've had a similar pair of Reefs for 25 years, kept going with rubber stick-on soles and a recycled heel strap from an old pair of my wife's. As you can guess, I loved them. The new ones have comfy soles which are more spongy than the originals; I hope they're as hard wearing.However I agree with others that switching the buckle to the outside of the heel strap is less convenient. It's OK if you can sit to put them on but very difficult to do when standing (unless you're young and flexible perhaps). If Reef redesigned the heel strap so that it attached at both ends with a Velcro loop.
