The soles gave me a lot of confidence in the wet and snow, also, being very grippy on notoriously slippery surfaces like wet train station floors.The uppers are very hard wearing, showing barely a scratch after 2 years of heavy use.If the story ended there, I'd give them 5 stars.Unfortunately, the quality of the sole is highly suspect. After 2 years, the outside of the right heel has worn right down to the line, and these soles are normally very thick (well over 1cm at the heel). The rest of right sole, as well as the left sole, is still intact. This imbalance has rendered the shoe unwearable, which is a crying shame given how good a state everything else is in.I'm tempted to buy another pair, but questions over the build quality, and the difficulty in breaking them in to start with, puts me Korea .prompt delivery.Has been on shoes for 2 months and no problems..Well recommended to re-sole any worn sole.shoes will last another 20 years hopefully.

The shoes that I repaired at a cost pence when compared with professional cobblers ,are now back in service and wearing well , very well in fact !!! One piece of advice , or perhaps two !!1) make a cardboard template first , then if necessary cut the sole (or heel ) , 2) leave the glue five minute to dry and not the 15 mins that it says on the packet !! Also rehearse the application with the cardboard template , dry of course !! Because once the two surfaces touch they cannot be altered !!! so beware !!!! Tony Wilson

I was chuffed to bits with these Vans ! I needed to get 2 pairs for the teens to go back to school in,and yes it can get quite pricey ! Yet i saved myself a good amount of money by getting them through Amazon :0) and as I knew which sizes i babyliss secret curl to make this claim after trying my bag out with my laptop (this was the main purpose behind me buying this bag). My laptop is standard sized and I measured it before ordering just to make sure. It is a very snug fit on the sides but it did eventually slide in. However the bag isn't deep enough to accommodate the laptop and it sticks out of the top by about a cm or so which stops the bag from fastening up. Also there is no room for anything else in the bag.I'm going to keep the bag as it is lovely, but I won't be using it as a laptop bag as I had intended so if you are looking at this bag for that purpose, I'd look elsewhere!

Just received this bag and for what I need it is about right as a work bag, just enough room for keys, a mobile phone, an ipad mini, purse and small amount of cosmetics. Other than that would not be able to fit anything else in it. I would not put a laptop in it as would be a tight fit. For the cost it is of good quality, if you want a bag not .

They're okay - quality is consistent with price, so they're nothing amazing. Also, there's this annoying tacky converse-style branding that they've imprinted on this. You know that star in the circle thing converse do? Well they've tried to copy that using their own brand - in this abstract east Asian-glyph language - but it's not done very well and looks cheap.
received on time but has dirt over them not only that one of the metal circles for the laces is missing and came in a damaged box not impressed at all not only that when i received a replacement pair they were also grubby and didn't last long either with the zip braking on them overall i will never deal with this company again as they are incapable of supplying anything of good quality.

I have had this style of Merrell shoes before and saw no reason to change to any other make or design. Eight years with last pair.......comfortable and waterproof. But, I had not bought footwear on-line before ( hassle of returns etc) but decided to take a chance. All good. Delivery, product, service. Very nice and comfortable. I am fan of Merrell's shoes first of all because of their soles, undoubtfully ones of world's best. One significant but: usually Merrel's size less than other's, my size is 11UK, but they were too small, 12UK was OK, thus, maybe not bad idea to order 1 or even 1,5 size larger. Nevertheless, Merrell's cool!
I bought a pair of these shoes (Taupe) in 1999 for a fair bit more than a pair can be bought for now, they certainly are lazy shoes, which slip on and off easily and feel like slippers but look pretty cool once weathered a bit. My pair have proven to be a pair of the most comfortable, durable and favourite shoes I've ever owned. They are finally worn out but have endured all kinds of abuse particularly toward the end of their life when I used them for anything, where now I use them solely for taking the dogs out only but are still as comfortable as ever..... Many cheaper attempts by other shoe mats made from, brief history and any famous connections such as 'football boot as worn by Pele'It also comes in a well built desktop stand.So if you know of any lady (or bloke for that matter!) that goes weak at the knees at the sight of a killer pair of six inch strap on heels, then this is for them!Christmas gift recommendation.Am I the only one who likes battered old hiking boots? :)

Best looking shoes I've bought on Amazon. They are very light and comfortable IF you have relatively narrow feet. If not, I'd advise you to stay away from them or go a size up.
