I have been told how comfortable fit flops are so thought if spend that extra bit of money to buy one instead if one of the cheaper alternatives, I have to say I'm disappointed, the toe post is quite stiff and uncomfortable inbetween my toes and just know they will rub if worn for any amount if time.
Fantastic ballet shoes! Really excellent quality and more wide fitting then other brands I've so far tried for my daughter, which is good as ballet shoes are always too narrow. I'd still recommend going at least a size up, which is the case with every ballet shoe brand from experience. These are an excellent quality leather and Sydney in soles in them. A bit disappointed.

Great value - comfortable - good fit - so light - agree with all the positive comments. Delivery was really quick. I've only just realised that they are not the branded shoe I thought I was getting - but these are even better. They are a bestern western not really suitable for climbing, although I wouldn't hesitate sticking with Merrell for these too. They aren't cheap but there are a couple of things in life worth investing extra in, shoes and a good mattress!
Light and very comfortable to wear for long periods, and they've kept my feet dry even in very wet conditions (obviously that's limited in deep water as they're shoes, not boots). Sizing seems about right, though you may want to go up half a size if you have wide feet. Haven't had much chance yet to try them in more challenging terrain but they seem to have plenty of grip except on very smooth wet surfaces like lino.Overall I'm very happy with them and would recommend them.

Excellent! I must add that I always go a size up with Merrell as I'm an 8 but the 9 fits super! I have had Merrells for years and I've always gone one size up ... I bought size 7 and they fit me exactly as they should, it is only the toe fit that I have a problem with. This is my foot problem and not a problem with the shoe.
I am a size 5 but I got the 5.5 as I read they were a small fit, I think I could have been ok with the size 5 though, I don't really mind as I like to wear two pairs of socks anyway for extra cushioning and they are quite hard, which I don't mind either because the support is much better that way,and they are not that much bigger that I'm tripping up or my feet look huge or anything, and they do soften up once your running about a bit, I feel much more confident playing tennis now as there is no slipping on court at all in these, I think they are very good quality and the lateral support is excellent.
Previous trainers (New Balance) at 6.5 size fitted well. This is a tight fit and I would have ordered 7.0 if I had known sizes were on the mean side.

Bought a pair of the supposed AA recommended snow grips recently for my size 13 boots having read good reviews of them for large feet and they do not work. They simply drop off after a few paces, no matter how hard I try to secure them. Absolute rubbish!
Item rubbver seen a shoe fall apart so quick.. I feel robbed, thought I was getting a bargain on a nice looking pair of shoes but they have been a complete waste of money. I'll stick with primark from now on, at least they last about 2 months and cost a purse friendly ￡4!
I was originally hesitant to purchase these shoes after having read through some of the other reviews describing problems with the strap. After some cons babyliss curler use they are to small. We are gutted! Its such a shame because she really liked them. She is a size 1.5 so I ordered her a size 2, but they are a small 2- if that makes sense! They were very tight on her, impossible to bare. Oh well nevermind will keep searching! Also very pleased with the service overall, they came on time to.
I ordered these for my daughter she's 9 and she loves them, they are a really good fit for her she's size 12 and has 'narrow' feet (Clarks E fitting) and these are a really good fit on her. They are taking a bit of getting used too with the heel and she's walking 'a bit wobbly' . These shoes are fab great for any special occasion and a brilliant price. if you're going to buy these and your child has broad feet then I would probably buy a size bigger than usual but for us they're are perfect.

Used these in my husband's running trainers ( he uses them 3/4 times a week) .They've really helped as the trainers had got that cat wee smell & advised not to put them in washing machine.Not sure how long the balls will last smell-wise, will have to wait & see.

This is supposed to be a BOOK review and not a review of Rosie Swale Pope. As I have said, her achievement in the journey was remarkable but the book is just remarkably bad.
I followed Rosie's travels in the media and remember the day she completed her 5 year run. Her story is sad - losing her dear husband - but inspirational and I'm full of awe and admiration for her tenacity.However, with the exception of the first chapter, this book is dire; one of the worst tra9 movie. I expected more from the Black Narcissus and was disappointed. At least I have The Red Shoes in perpetuity. :)
Brian Easdale has fascinated me ever since I was in the first grade when I was taken to the local Warner theater to see the great movie, 'The Red Shoes'. Easdale won an Academy Award for this music and I find the movie and the music enthralling. I have an old LP recording made by the St Louis Symphony but have always wished for a new CD recording. This one is conducted with appropriate vigor and luxuriates with contemporary full stereo sound quality. Other selections on the CD include some music Easdale wrote for other films. He shows glimmers of artistry here and there but nothing can top the Red Shoes Ballet. His creativity on the red shoes sound track is over-the-top. His style has elements of modernity coupled with romanticism. They are cheap-looking and too small though I am keeping them as I can't beat the hassle with the process of returns. My feet are a 5 to 5.5. These boots are a 7 and still too small - my toes touch the ends!!
